2 BHS students receive military appointments

Two Brookhaven High School students have received appointments to United States Armed Forces academies.

Sam Arnold has been appointed to the U.S. Military Academy in West Point.

Grayson Childress has been appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

“The academic accomplishments they have received as students in the Brookhaven School District allowed them this prestigious appointment,” read a release from the office of Superintendent Dr. Rod Henderson.
