The Brookhaven Farmers Market Dairy Days Event was Friday morning at Lincoln Civic Center. Children were able to pet and hug a calf, learn how to pot plants and take photos on antique tractors. The dozens of attendees were able to enjoy free grilled corn, ice cream and chocolate milk. Live music was provided by Bogue Chitto artist JT McCaffrey and his band. More than 20 vendors sold farm fresh goods, including baked goods, soaps, tomatoes, blueberries, plants, jellies, tea, sauces and cut flowers.
