COVID update: 1 new death in Lincoln County

One new COVID-19 related death has been reported for Lincoln County by the state health department.
The death was identified from a death certificate in the period of March 29-June 9, and also increases the county’s case total by one to 4,009, with 113 related fatalities.
The Mississippi State Department of Health reported seven new deaths from death certificate reports March 29-June 9 and 159 new positive test results recorded June 18-20. Mississippi has now reported 320,107 cases and 7,378 deaths from the coronavirus pandemic.
Issaquenna County maintains the fewest cases (169) and deaths (six) in the state, while DeSoto County still has the most recorded cases at 22,291 and Harrison County has the highest reported number of deaths at 317.
