The FEMA/Brookhaven Building at 1154 Belt Line Drive is open for anyone desiring shelter from potential severe storms today.

“Bring any essentials you will need, including bottled water, as only chairs and restrooms will be provided,” said Mayor Joe Cox. “Social distancing and masks will be required due to COVID.”

Pets are not permitted in the Brookhaven Building, according to Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency Director Clifford Galey.
