A woman was found dead at the home of attorney Robert A. Lenoir on Hope Drive in McComb around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, McComb Police Chief Garland Ward said. Multiple law enforcement sources have confirmed the woman was Wendy McMahan or Wendy Dansby, according to McComb news source The Enterprise-Journal.

MPD has turned the case over to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

Lenoir, 45, was arrested Tuesday and charged by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and MBI with tampering with physical evidence and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
