The award is designed to recognize and honor the home gardener with the most outstanding landscaped yard for the year and for their love of gardening. Mr. Greer is recognized for his outstanding hard work of constantly maintaining a well groomed landscape year round that includes seasonal flowers, native trees and plants, accents, and shrubs. The key criteria to receiving the Magnolia Award includes a consistently manicured yard, curb appeal, originality, use of native and seasonal plant material and creativity. The recipient of this award must have previously received Yard of the Month within the current calendar year.
President Debbie Smith called the meeting to order, the Collect was recited and the Club entered into its business session!
A “Valentine’s Day” program was presented by Nancy Sullivan, Debbie Smith, and Dixie Thornton. The ladies demonstrated simple but adorable Valentine’s creations along with basic flower arranging that were enjoyed by the Club members.
