Libby Stamper and Tony Smith announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Taylor Smith, to Grant Burke.

He is the son of Scott and Marie Burke.

Miss Smith is the granddaughter of O.A. Smith and the late Lady Sue Smith, the Rev. and Mrs. Bill Appleby Sr., and the late Betty S. Appleby.

Mr. Burke is the grandson of the late Jim Ray Kyzar and the late Bessie Kyzar, Gerald Burke and the late Etta Burke.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Petal High School and a 2017 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, with a master’s degree in public accountancy. She is employed as an auditor with Carr, Riggs and Ingram LLC in Ridgeland.

The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Enterprise High School and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a web developer with NIC Mississippi in Jackson.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Dogwood Venue in Sumrall.
