Services for Christopher Ryan Spear are 11:00 am Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Springs of Praise Church with burial at Ashley Cemetery in Hazlehurst, MS.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, at the Church.

Christopher Ryan Spear, 25, born on May 31, 1995. He was the firstborn of four boys. Passionate musician and played the guitar in his church, Springs of Praise.

He enjoyed playing football with his friends. Ryan graduated from Wesson Attendance Center in 2013. Ryan pursued a career in the Marine Transportation Industry. He never met a stranger and he brought smiles to every face he met.

He was a big hugger so when you seen him, there was no doubt you were getting a huge hug from him.

He was a God-fearing man and spent most of his Sundays, if not all, in church and in his youth group with all his friends. They spent countless hours making music and performing for crowds.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Joseph and Marie Cooper and great-grandmother, Jeanette Brewer.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jeanette and Jason Cheroni; brothers, Noah Spear, James Spear and Ashley Cheroni; great-grandfather, John Brewer “PawPaw Doc”; grandparents, Lynn and Newton Starnes, Freddie and Evelyn Cheroni; aunt, Cathy Sanders; and a host of cousins and other family members and friends.
