The weather should be perfect this weekend for this month’s Third Saturday Cruise. Events like the monthly car cruise are what make downtown Brookhaven special. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Come check it out this weekend.

High temperatures will begin to climb into the low and middle 70s for the remainder of the week and skies should remain sunny and clear. Lows should drop into the low 50s and high 40s overnight. Temperatures during the Saturday Cruise will be in the 60s.

Reminder: Use caution with any outdoor activities involving spark or flame. Recent dry weather and dry grasses have made raised the levels of wildfire danger in the area.
