Funeral services for Mr. Kellis Michael Britt will be on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the New Hope UMC Cemetery. Bro. Landon Smith and Bro. Zach Smith will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Britt, 52, of Caseyville, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born on June 18, 1968, in Brookhaven, MS, to Francis Britt and Susie Wilson. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and worked for many years as a truck driver hauling cattle. He enjoyed living life the “Cowboy Way,” sharing his love of horses and dogs. He was a member of the Choctaw Beagle Club and the Brookhaven Masonic Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his father, Francis Britt, and stepfather, Kenneth Wilson.

Survivors are his mother, Susie Wilson; daughters, Hannah Smith and husband Joseph, and Allison Smith and husband Austin and their children, Emma, August and Samuel Smith; his brothers, Randy Britt, Joney Britt and Jason Wilson; his sister, Debbie Grimes; and a host of nieces and great nieces, nephews and great-nephews (who he called his “boys”); along with a host of family and friends.
