Meet Bo Watson.

Watson, a 50-year-old worker of Southern Pawn in Brookhaven. They keep him busy. A co-worker described Watson as good hearted and easy going. For Watson, getting to know the public as they walk into the store and swapping stories is the best part of his job.

“They’re the funniest people you’ll ever meet,” he said.

Watson said he is married, with a son and daughter age 11 and 12. He was born in Cleveland, Mississippi but he has family in Brookhaven. He moved to Brookhaven five years ago to take care of his family.

“We moved my mom and my dad down here and I help take care of them,” he said.

As far as hobbies go, Watson said he’s enjoyed hunting and fishing his whole life. It’s the solitude and the quiet that draw him in, he said.

“I get my best rest when I’m hunting because when I get in a deer stand, I take a nap,” Watson said. “That’s the most peace I get.”
