Brookhaven police are investigating a shooting at Oakview Apartments Sunday that sent a 28-year-old man to a Jackson hospital.

Investigators have identified “persons of interest” and they’re being questioned, said Sgt. Jonathan Alford.

He said police responded to the shooting at the apartment complex on Fred Walley Drive about 6:30 p.m. and found the wounded man.

He was airlifted to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
