The Wesson Lady Cobras finished as runners-up in their district after dropping an 8-2 loss to Bogue Chitto on Monday. Coach Michelle Nunnery and her team bounced back on Tuesday to pound Crystal Springs 15-0 twice in a double header.

The postseason begins Saturday for Wesson as they welcome the Bay Springs Lady Bulldogs to Copiah County for a best-of-three series. Game one will start at 11 a.m. with game two to follow. If a game three is needed it will immediately follow game two.
