Joyce Anna Ballard

Funeral services for Joyce Anna Ballard, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Riverwood Family in Brookhaven with burial at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, from 1 p.m. until time of the service at Riverwood Family.

Mrs. Ballard, 85, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at Haven Hall. She was born April 6, 1933, to Leon and Marie Townsend. She worked for Stahl Urban as a trainer until her retirement. She was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carrel Ballard; and her son, Michal Ballard.

Survivors are her daughter, Glenda Smith (Anthony); brother, Dub Townsend; sisters, Eva Lee, Linda, Donnis, and Pearl; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
