Emergency personnel respond to multiple wrecks

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department reports for Friday-Monday were as follows:

• There was a one-vehicle wreck with no injuries Friday at 12:39 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 84 and Auburn Drive. A log truck overturned.

• Firefighters responded to a gas leak at 2:12 p.m. at 711 South Second St.

• On Saturday, BFD reported a one-vehicle wreck without injuries at 9 p.m. on Halbert Heights Road.

• There also was one-vehicle wreck and fire with no injuries at 11 p.m. on East Chickasaw Street Saturday.

• Sunday, firefighters responded to a one-vehicle wreck with no injuries on I-55 southbound at mile marker 38 at 3:39 p.m.

• Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on Brookman Drive Monday.

Highway patrol reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported three wrecks on Friday. There was a three-vehicle wreck with injuries at 12:13 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Hwy. 84 and Hwy. 184. Troopers responded to a one-vehicle wreck without injuries on Hwy. 84 and Auburn Drive at 12:36 p.m. A two-vehicle wreck with no injuries occurred at 4:06 p.m. on I-55 southbound, north of Bogue Chitto.

Troopers responded to a two-vehicle wreck with injuries Sunday at 2:11 p.m. on Hwy. 51 N; a one-vehicle wreck with no injuries on I-55 north of exit 38 at 3:33 p.m.; and a one-vehicle wreck with injuries at 9:36 p.m. on I-55 southbound at mile marker 46.

There was a one-vehicle wreck with no injuries Monday at 8:54 a.m.  on I-55, south of mile marker 30. There was also a one-vehicle accident without injuries at 2 p.m. Tuesday on I-55 at mile maker 32.

KDMC reports

King’s Daughters Ambulance Service reported 41 total calls Friday-Sunday. Thirteen were transfers — nine to Jackson, one in the city, one in the county, one to Hattiesburg and one to Pike County. There were 28 emergency calls; 17 medical, with nine in the city and eight in the county; seven traumas, four in the city and three in the county; two MVCs, one in the city and one in the county; and one cardiac in the county.
