Funeral services for Marie Quinn King, of Brookhaven, are today, Oct. 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 9, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. King, 92, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Diversicare of Brookhaven with her loving family by her side. She was born April 13, 1926, to Ernest and Vassie Quinn. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Royce Rayborn King; brothers, Rowan Quinn, Lucius Quinn and James Quinn; and sisters, Kay Wilson and Addie McGee.

Survivors are her son, Royce Stan King and wife, Cindy; daughter, Jennifer Sue Burt and husband, Michael Wayne; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
