Students at Brookhaven Elementary School celebrated their parents’ parents Monday and Tuesday by sharing their time — and lunch — with their elders.

Grandparents’ Day is always a special time at BES, which has observed the holiday for several years.

More than 100 grandparents joined their grandchildren for lunch over the two days. Parents and grandparents are welcome to come to the campus for lunch any time, but on the two-day Grandparents Day celebration, cafeteria workers serve a special menu.
