Rev. Dr. Ronnie and Marian Mackabee announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Kelley Percinia Mackabee of Brookhaven, to Joseph Blake Bridges of Columbia.

He is the son of Topeneka Bridges and the late Joseph Foxworth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Percy Hall Jr. and Winnie Bell Hall, Inez Mackabee and the late William Isaac Mackabee, all of Brookhaven.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Estella Bridges and the late Marvin Bridges, of Columbia.

Miss Mackabee is an honor graduate of Brookhaven High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She is employed at First Guaranty Bank, Hammond, Louisiana.

Mr. Bridges is an honor graduate of West Marion High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics. He is pursuing a master’s degree in agronomy. He is employed by the USDA in Natchez.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Hub Community Baptist Church, Columbia. Dr. Ronnie Mackabee will officiate. A reception will follow at the Mississippi State Extension Center, Hattiesburg.
