West Lincoln will host a spring football jamboree Friday night with Enterprise, Loyd Star and Bogue Chitto traveling over for a Lincoln County showdown.

The action will get started with the junior varsity games first, with West Lincoln and Loyd Star’s JV teams playing at 5 p.m. Loyd Star and Bogue Chitto JVs will play at 5:20 p.m., followed by West Lincoln and Bogue Chitto’s JV game at 5:40 p.m.

The varsity action will start at 6 p.m. with West Lincoln and Loyd Star. Bogue Chitto and Enterprise will play at 6:25 p.m., followed by Bogue Chitto and Loyd Star. Enterprise and West Lincoln will finish off the night’s action at 7:15 p.m.

“It’s really nice that we can all play the county schools in a spring jamboree,” said West Lincoln football coach B.J. Smithhart. “We’ll be able to get some work in against some good competition and play a little ball.”

There will be full concession stand available during the contest, and admission will be $5.

Smithhart said the teams had talked about rotating the spring jamboree throughout the schools every spring.
