Monticello reports

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a brush fire at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday on James Cox Road. They also responded to a medical call at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday on F. E. Sellers Highway.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported one charge of possession of beer by a person under 21 Tuesday. They also reported one open container charge Tuesday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday on Hwy. 51. Injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Tuesday. Three were transfers, with two to Jackson and one to Copiah County. There were 10 emergency calls; six medical, with four in the city and two in the county; two traumas, with one in the city and one in the county; and two MVAs in the county.
