Dr. Shannon Patterson, past president of the Krewe of Ceres, and his wife Robin present checks from the Krewe to various charitable organizations in Lincoln County.
Proceeds given to these charities from the 2017 Krewe of Ceres Charity Ball totaled $15,000. The 2018 ball will be Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Lincoln Civic Center. The ball includes a buffet dinner and live music. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with court presentation beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 by contacting Stacy Walker at 601- 757-6141.
