Lake Mary Crawford is closed for renovation.
Lake Lincoln State Park
Bass are schooling some. Rattling crankbaits and soft plastics are working well. Also, try top water lures early in the morning or late in the evening, and soft plastics in shallow and medium depths.
Bream fishing should be picking up around the full moon. Crickets and worms are the best baits.
Crappie fishing is reportedly very slow; anglers are having a tough time catching fish. Try trolling or spider rigging in 8 to 12 feet of water. Minnows and jigs are both working well.
No current reports on catfish. Fishing around the island should produce some fish.
Percy Quin State Park
Bass are schooling and biting well, especially on the north end of the lake. Try topwater lures, soft plastics, and spinnerbaits in shallow water in the grass, and also around the willow trees.
Bream fishing is good right now. One angler caught 70 in two days during the full moon. Try fishing in about 4 feet of water around the banks. Redworms and crickets are working the best.
Some good size Black Crappie are being caught in the willows. One angler caught 10 last weekend, while another caught 18 fishing in the willows about 7 feet deep.
A lot of catfish are being caught with the higher water. Most anglers are having success on cutbait and worms
