Funeral services for Alice Cain Johnson Knight, of Eagle Lake and also Deer Park, Louisiana, will be held Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Laird Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with burial at Natchez City Cemetery. Rev. Mike Harrigill will officiate.

Visitation will be today, Feb. 5, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. and will continue Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knight, 74, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at Promise Hospital of Miss-Lou in Vidalia.

She was born July 19, 1942, at Bougere, Louisiana, to Robert Cain and Ruth Corley Cain. She was a homemaker most of her life. Mrs. Knight was a member of Bourge Baptist Church and attended Eagle Lake Baptist Church when she was in Vicksburg.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John T. Knight Jr., one son, Karl E. Johnson, and two brothers, Marcus Cain and James Cain.

Survivors include one son, Johnnie F. Johnson Jr., of Natchez; one daughter, Patricia Johnson Mulder and husband Vernon, of Pensacola, Florida; one stepson, Jeff Knight and wife, Betty, of Wesson; two stepdaughters, Cathy Roboski and husband, Mike, of Natchez, and Janet Gay and husband Tim, of Natchez; grandchildren, Shelby Johnson, Karly Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Joshua Mulder, Jarred Mulder, Julia Warshaw, Jessica Gay Barnett, John T. Gay, Erica Wooten, Jamie McKay, Brady Knight, Michael Roboski, Jr. and Anna Grace Roboski; and one sister, Barbara Roberts and husband, Lee, of Vidalia, Louisiana.
