In observance of Christmas, The Daily Leader office will be closed Monday, Dec. 26. The newspaper will publish its Sunday edition Christmas day.

The following other area offices have announced their schedules for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

• Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will close  Friday and Monday.

• Waste Pro will run its regular route.

• The U.S. Post Office will be closed Monday. It will be open Saturday 9:30-11:30 a.m.

• The Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver’s License exam office will be closed Friday and Monday.

• Brookhaven city offices will be closed Friday and Monday.

• Lincoln and Copiah county offices will be closed Friday and Monday.
