Lincoln County’s burn ban has been lifted, according to the Mississippi Forestry Commission.

Just 16 counties remain under a ban, including Lawrence and Franklin counties.

Lincoln County was placed under the burn ban at the end of October due to drought conditions. It was  extended in November.
