Corrections and clarifications:

• In a story published Sunday about Loyd Star’s victory over Bogue Chitto in the Possum Bowl, James Beard was credited with a one-yard touchdown. The touchdown was instead scored by Michael Harvey.

• In the recap of the KDMC Classic game between Brookhaven and Franklin County, Demarrell Leggett was credited with scoring a 12-yard touchdown. Wide receiver John Hilbert was responsible for the score.

• In the recap of Enterpise’s win over Ethel, Zach Hodges was credited with 150 rushing yards and 72 passing yards. Hodges scored five touchdowns on 255 yards and 11 carries. He also had 84 passing yards for one touchdown. Drake Allen and Danny Thomas led the way on defense with eight and seven tackles respectively.

• In the Brookhaven Academy versus Prentiss Christian story headline, Prentiss Christian was incorrectly identified.

• Heritage Family Church was misidentified in an article last week about purchasing sports equipment from the county.
