I just wanted to comment on the article in Sunday’s issue about the money for paving the alderman/alderwomen were arguing about. I am sure there is a lot that I do not understand about this issue concerning where the money gets spent. The way the article was reported concerning the behavior of the members of the board was a little embarrassing. There are some things we learn in discussion and how to make your case in an argument. Cutting people off and interrupting another is really not very professional. That could probably have been handled better. The other issue that I would like to mention is the money really does not belong to these board members. Where ever it comes from either as tax dollars or grants, it is not their money. Please be reminded  of that. Do keep up the good work mayor and board. Brookhaven is still a great place to live in.
