A meeting to train private pesticide applicators for certification to use Restricted-Use Pesticides will be held Thursday at noon at the Lincoln County Extension Service, 301 S. First St., Room 201.
The cost is $10.
A private applicator is defined by law as one who uses or supervises the use of restricted-use pesticides to produce an agricultural commodity on property owned or rented by themselves or their employer, or on the property of another person whom they trade services, said Debbie Corley with the Extension Service.
