John Thomas Roberts

Funeral services for John Thomas Roberts were Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Benji Pyeatt officiated the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 9 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Roberts, 86, died on June 10, 2016, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven. He was born on Aug. 9, 1929, in Brookhaven to Kelsey and Annie Mae Richardson Roberts. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Kelsey and Annie Mae Richardson Roberts; son, John Roberts; and aunt, Emma Richardson.

Survivors are his wife Helen Bowman Roberts; daughter, Annie Roberts Case and husband Ricky of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Jessica Case Albright and husband Marty, and Katie Case Dent and husband John; and a host of family and friends.
