Ann Kelly, of Bogue Chitto, and Donnie Ray Dillon, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Markeyta Diane Dillon, of Brookhaven, to Louis Dwan Wilson, of Jayess.
He is the son of Penny Rucker, of Mount Canaan, and Johnny Louis Wilson, of Jayess.
She is the granddaughter of the late Archie and Lorene Dickey, of Bogue Chitto, the late David Lee, of Chicago, Illinois, and the late Rosie Lee Dillon-Daniel, of Quentin.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Cleola Thornton, of Mount Canaan, the late Elzey Wilson, of Jayess, and the late Leslie Lee Wilson, of Jayess.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 2003 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is also a 2007 and 2013 graduate of Alcorn State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and a Master of Science in secondary education in school counseling. She is currently employed with the Brookhaven School District.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Tylertown High School and a 2006 graduate of Alcorn State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. He is also a 2012 graduate of Holmes Community College where he received a degree to become an occupational therapy assistant. He is currently employed with Reconnect Therapy in Liberty.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the Lincoln Civic Center. A reception will follow.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
