Mr. and Mrs. Greg Ryan, of Brookhaven, and Kathy Ryan, of Hattiesburg, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Emily Claire Ryan, of Brookhaven, to William Kennon McBeath III, of Brandon.

He is the son of Ken and Brenda McBeath.

She is the granddaughter of John Monahan and the late Peggy Monahan, of Brookhaven, and the late Alton Ryan and Nell Ryan, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of the late Bobby Jones and Mary Jones, of Brandon, and the late Kennon McBeath and the late Frances McBeath, of Newton.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016, at First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the home of the bride’s father.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
