Mr. and Mrs. Brian Warner Burke, of Ruth, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah Burke, of Ruth, to Blake Rhodus, of Smithdale.

He is the son of Julius and Melanie Rhodus.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. B. G. Godbold and the late Mr. Godbold, of Bogue Chitto, and Gerald Burke and the late Mrs. Burke, of Wesson.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Willie B. Moore and the late Mr. Moore, of Smithdale, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James L. Rhodus, of Magnolia.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. She also graduated from Pearl River Community College where she received her qualifications to be a physical therapist assistant. She is currently employed with Medicomp Physical Therapy.

The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Parklane Academy and a graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College where he received a degree in process operations technology. He is currently employed with Shamrock Energy Solutions.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Brookhaven. A reception will follow at the church.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
