The Enterprise Lady Jackets collected a 10-0 shutout over the Salem Lady Wildcats Tuesday night in fastpitch softball action.

The Lady Jackets, coached by Charissa Burke, continue action Thursday as they travel to take on the South Jones Lady Mustangs. Junior varsity action begins at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:15 p.m.

Lady Jackets 10, Lady Wildcats 0 

The Lady Jackets quickly took care of business Tuesday night as they clobbered the Lady Wildcats in a five-inning contest. Enterprise scored three runs in the first inning, five runs in the second inning and one run in the third inning to secure a 9-0 lead.

The Lady Jackets scored their final run in the fifth inning to end the game with a 10-run mercy rule.

Carly Polk powered the Lady Jackets with a double and a single. Abby Meredith contributed two singles. Carlee Nations ripped a double. Hitting safely were Haley Nations, Jana Nations, Lauren Gartman, Brooke Foster and Kinsey Dahlin.

In junior varsity action, Enterprise defeated Salem 1-0.
