SUMMIT – Bears’ basketball head coach Thomas Gray has been named a HoopDirt.com Coach of the Week by The Hoop Group. Gray is now eligible to receive the HoopDirt.com National Coach of the Year Award presented by The Hoop Group which will be announced at the conclusion of the 2015-16 college basketball season.

HoopDirt.com is a coaching resource that has thousands of views per day in the coaching profession, and has over 21,000 Twitter followers. HoopDirt names one National Coach of the Week for each level of coaching (Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College), and this is their 15th week of naming a National Coach of the Week. Coach Gray is one of only 15 coaches at the Junior College level to receive this distinction, out of over 500 Junior College programs who are members of the NJCAA.
