Funeral services for Reddin Eugene Smith are Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at 12 p.m. at the Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. David Taylor will be officiating the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive).

Mr. Smith, 88, of Biloxi, died on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Merit Health Systems in Biloxi. He was born March 15, 1927, in Marion, South Carolina to Reddin and Daisy Mae Martin Smith.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired tech sergeant from the Air Force. He was also retired from Kaiser Aluminum Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lena Johnston Smith.

Survivors are his daughter, Cindy Beeson of Livingston, Louisiana; and son Hayward Beeson and his wife, Heather, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Michelle, Amanda, Brandy, Tara and Stephanie; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother Levoy Smith, of Marion, South Carolina.
