Adrienne Thornton, of Brookhaven, announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Samantha Rose Thornton, of Brookhaven, to Paul Edward Willingham III, of Brookhaven. She is also the daughter of Stewart Thornton.

He is the son of the late Paul Edward Willingham Jr.

She is the granddaughter of Beverly Lowery, of Brookhaven, the late Travis Marvin Lowery, Pat Thornton, of Meadville, the late Mr. Mel Roy Thornton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Manton, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Paul Edward Willingham Sr. and the late Beverly Willingham.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School. She currently attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is currently employed with Vendor’s Emporium.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven Academy. He is currently employed with Ross Jackson Plumbing.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Brookway Church of Christ. A reception will follow at the church.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
