Funeral services for Janice Ilene Marshall Moak are Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home with burial in Montgomery Church Cemetery. Dr. David Millican will be officiating the services. Hartman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of services.1106JaniceMoak

Mrs. Moak, 75, of Bogue Chitto, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at her home. She was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania to Forest and Blanch Manning Marshall. She grew up in Xenia, Ohio.

She was a member of Xenia Christian Center and a member of National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association local chapter 1146.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William (Bill) Marshall and Forest James Marshall; and one sister, Joyce Ann Clevenger.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Carroll E. Moak Sr.; three sons, Warren L. Moak of Bogue Chitto, Carroll E. Moak Jr. and wife, Jackie, of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Troy E. Moak and wife, Catherine, of Alvarado, Texas; one sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Plantz of Xenia, Ohio; sister-in-law, Connie Marshall of Xenia; one grandson, Seth E. Moak of Alvarado; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Paige Moak of Fredericksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
