Graveside services for Connie Marie Prestridge Bailey are Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Bro. Aron Brister and Dr. Richard Balcom will officiate the services. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bailey, 51, of Summit, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 16, 1964, in Brookhaven to Larry Prestridge and Beatrice Prestridge Kennedy.

She was a housewife and a member of Southway Baptist Church in Brookhaven.  She was a sweet spirited person and loved her family with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a daughter, Laken Michelle Bailey.

She is survived by her husband, Don E. Bailey of Summit; her mother; one daughter, Taylor Kennedy of Brookhaven; two brothers, Rusty Prestridge and his wife, Sheila and Bruce Prestridge and his wife, Linda, both of Brookhaven; one sister, Kathy Norris and her husband, Mike, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
