The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, in coordination with the District Attorney’s office, has served three more indictments from the most recent grand jury session.
Sheriff Steve Rushing said the department is about a third of the way through the list, and will serve many over the weekend and through the beginning of the week.
When the grand jury agrees the evidence is sufficient to establish the commission of a crime, it returns an indictment endorsed by the grand jury foreman with the phrase “true bill” to indicate the information presented is sufficient to justify the trial of the suspect.
Indictments:
• Ronald Douglas Carson, 8-21-72, of 2701 Northwest Loyd Star Lane, was indicted for unlawful possession of 40 units of hydrocodone with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of five units of amphetamine. Carson is out on bond.
• Rhonda Sue Reed Arevalo, 8-24-78, of 1834 Busby Trail, was indicted for unlawful possession of less than two grams of cocaine with intent to distribute and selling cocaine. Arevalo is out on bond.
• Jacklon Ronell May, 3-27-89, of 811 Beauregard Street was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. May is out on bond.
