Paul and Ellie Phillips and Malcolm and Marlene Cupit, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Anne Houston Cupit, of Brookhaven, to Carl Norris Craig III, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Mrs. Beverly Craig and the late Carl Craig II, of Dallas, Texas.

She is the granddaughter of Dr. Anne Atkinson Henderson, of Brookhaven and Dr. and Mrs. Edward H. Henderson, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mrs. Eva Cupit and the late Malcolm T. Cupit, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of the late Lawrence and Violet Holden, of Poplarville, and the late Carl H. Craig and Annie Ruth Craig, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School, the University of Mississippi and the University of Southern Mississippi. She is currently employed with Region 8 Mental Health as a therapist.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven Academy and the University of Southern Mississippi. He also attended Mississippi State University. He is currently the owner of Magnolia Blues BBQ Company.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. A reception will follow at 7 p.m. at 844 Natchez Drive.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
