Lincoln County’s Miss Hospitality was named in the top 10 Saturday night.
Caroleah Brister, the daughter of Terry and Leah Brister, competed in the state Miss Hospitality pageant in Hattiesburg where she was honored as a top competitor.
The annual competition, which began in 1949, crowns one young woman as Miss Hospitality each year, to serve as a goodwill ambassador for the state, traveling across Mississippi to promote the state’s economic development and tourism industries.
Brister spent much of the summer studying facts about Mississippi, participating in mock interviews and staying up to date with current events.
Brister graduated from Copiah-Lincoln Community College this May and plans to attend Mississippi State this fall. She is also a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center.
