Local schools to hold registration

The Brookhaven School District will host its early registration and enrollment for all students today and Wednesday at Lipsey Middle School.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday, BSD will be registering and enrolling all students from kindergarten to 12th grade at Lipsey Middle School on 412 Drury Lane.
Registration packets will be available at the BSD central office at 326 East Court St. Printable registration forms, enrollment cards and other forms can downloaded from the Brookhaven School District website at www.brookhaven.k12.ms.us.
Parents or guardians must bring two proofs of residency, information about section, township, and range, which can be found by calling the Lincoln County Tax Collector’s office at 601-823-9347. A copy of immunization records and a copy of a birth certificate are needed for new students only and proof of Tdap vaccination is required for students registering for the seventh grade.
Immunization records and other information regarding immunizations can be found by contacting the Lincoln County Health Department at 601-833-3314 or by visiting their offices at 1212 Northpark Lane.
Each school in the Lincoln County School District will host registration at its facilities. Bogue Chitto Attendance Center registration will be July 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. West Lincoln Attendance Center registration will also be July 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enterprise Attendance Center’s registration will be July 30 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Loyd Star Attendance Center will host its registration Aug. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Parents or guardians registering students in LCSD must bring immunization records, Social Security card, birth certificate and two proofs of residency.
Wesson Attendance Center will host two days of registration. The first is Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and July 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. To register students, parents or guardians should bring the student’s Social Security card, birth certificate, immunization records, last report card from the student’s former school and three proofs of residency.
