The Dr. A.L. Lott Coach-Pitch All-Star team defeated the Mendenhall All-Stars twice in Saturday’s All-Stars tournament event at Dr. Lott Field.

The All-Stars from Brookhaven defeated Mendenhall 6-3 in the first game and 11-8 in the second game.

In Pony League All-Star action, Terry Bates crushed Amite County 12-3

In other league action, the girls’ softball league finished their regular season last Thursday and started playoff action Monday for the city league championship. The tournament continues Tuesday and will end on Friday with the championship contest.
