Graveside services for Rodney Jordan are 2 p.m. at Adams United Methodist Church cemetery.  Bro. Charles Broussard will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe Marlon Jordan, James Dwight Jordan, Carey Smith, Kevin Smith and Craig Smith. Jones Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Jones Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Jordan, 83, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at his residence.  He was born on Feb. 29, 1932, in Franklin County to Albert M. and Ruby McMorris Jordan.

Mr. Jordan was a member of the Church of Christ and served in the United States Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers, Charles F. Jordan, Julius T. Jordan, Wallace R. Jordan and Dwight M. Jordan; and five sisters, Estelle Freeman, Gladys Coward, Iola Coward, Maxine Kessler and Opal Futch.

He is survived by one brother, Joe Jordan and wife, Gayla, of Smithdale; and one sister, Jeannette Bailey of Bogue Chitto.
