Farmer’s market opens

Spencer’s homegrown honey on sale Friday came from one of his many hives. Vendors set up in Railroad Park starting at 7:30 a.m., offering fresh flowers, breads and other baked goods, milk and cheeses, local beef and pork and lots of produce. Farm Bureau was on-site to grill hamburgers. The Friday farmer’s market runs until 12:30 p.m., and Tuesday’s market will be held in the Amtrak Station from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
