Funeral Services for Lillodis Bell Dubois are at 2 p.m. in the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Scott Gilmore, Tony Patrick, Steve Gilmore, Skip Dubois, George Dubois and Danny Dubois.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at the funeral home.

Lillodis Bell Dubois, 97, died, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home. She was taken into the arms of our Lord with family and loved ones at her bedside.

She was born Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1917 in Newton County to John and Katie Goolsby Bell.

Mrs. Dubois was a longtime resident of Flowood where she ran Dubois Grocery alongside her husband, O.E. Dubois, from 1950 to 1989. She was a dedicated servant of the Lord through Liberty Baptist Church, where she sang with the choir in her beautiful alto voice.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her five-generation family, including her four children, fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dubois was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Oscar Eugene Dubois; and daughter, Peggy Lynn Dubois.

Survivors include son, Eugene “Gene” Dubois (Beverley); daughters, Brenda Kate Goodwin and Elizabeth Fay Dubois; grandchildren, Vanaee Patrick (Tony), Scott Gilmore (Rhonda), Steve Gilmore, Skip Dubois (Darlene), Danny Dubois (Shane), Kenneth Dubois, George Dubois, Tommy Goodwin (Aubrey Leigh) and numerous great-grandchildren.
