BHS banquet honors soccer athletes

The Brookhaven faculty, family and soccer booster club honored their Panther athletes with a winter banquet to recognize their girls and boys teams for their hard work.
Brookhaven Lady Panther’s senior Mid Fielder Katie Grace Culpepper was recognized as the girls Most Valuable Player Award. In boys’ soccer, freshmen Tyler Mixon received the Most Valuable Player.
Emily Mezzanares and Jacob Bozeman received the Most Valuable Defensive Player award. Fallon Brooks and Logan Emfinger were selected as the Most Valuable Offensive Player.
Other awards went to: Scholastic Award: Emily Mezzanares, Joey Davis and Will Moak. Most Improved Offensive Player: Haley Speaks and Dalton Fortado. Most Improved Defensive Player: Julianna Porter, Kariunte Edwards. Mr. & Miss Hustle: Michael Lambert and Shaniya Jackson. Coaches Award: Artia Robinson, Damani Noble. Rookie of the Year: Madi Miller, Will Moak.
Bree Allen and Sawyer Jordan were selected as the most valuable player in girls and boys junior varsity action.
