Funeral Services for Aileen Smith of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Friendship M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Charles McGee will officiate. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, from 2 until 6 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith, 62, died Feb. 12, 2015, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born on Sept. 15, 1952, in Lincoln County to Ernest and Josie Mae Gatlin Herring.

She was a retired bus driver for the Brookhaven Public School System.

Preceding her in death were her brothers, Steve Gatlin and Charles Herring; and sister, Vinie Levi.

Survivors are her sons, Dana Herring (Deborah) and Lakendrick Smith of Brookhaven; daughter, Victoria Henderson (Willie) of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Marvis Thomas, Dana L. Herring, Diamond V. Herring and Allen T. Henderson.
