Graveside Services for Della J. Adams of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. Adams, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams loved classic country music as well as cooking in her younger days. She also loved playing “rummy” with family members.

Preceding her in death were her parents, James R. Waldon Sr. and Queenie Smith Waldon; her husband, James E. Adams; and her brother, Glyn Waldon.

Survivors are her daughter, Gail Wallace and husband, Scotty, of Brookhaven; her brothers, Don Waldon and wife, Lona, from Walker, Louisiana and Jim Waldon and wife, Wanda, also of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Ashley Ezell West and husband, Brandon, of Hattiesburg; Sawyer Wallace of Bogue Chitto; and Shelby Wallace, also of Bogue Chitto; as well as numerous nieces and nephews

The family has requested that donations may also be made to the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
