Community unites in prayer tonight

Tonight from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. organizers in the area are hoping to transform downtown Brookhaven into a hub of support and prayer for the students of Lincoln County.

“It’s a night for anyone of any denomination and any church to gather together and show support for our students regarding all the unfortunate events that have been going on,” TJ Earl, student pastor at Easthaven Baptist Church, said.

Earl said the event was put together by a group of people who felt such an event was needed to get all the students in the county together in one place to pray and worship together. Earl stresses the event is open to any and everyone.
